The number of active coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh continue to rise once more, with a few politicians testing positive for the virus as well. Addanki MLA Gottipati Ravi Kumar and Parchuru MLA Sambasiva Rao both tested positive for COVID-19, according to sources. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad for treatment.
Buchepalli Shivaprasad Reddy, a former MLA and YCP chief, also tested positive for Coronavirus. Damacharla Satya, the chief of the Telugu Desam Party, was also diagnosed with Coronavirus. TDP officials recently campaigned in Tirupati for by-elections. CM YS Jagan wrote to the Centre, demanding that the state be sent 25 lakh Corona vaccines.
