Veteran Sandalwood poster designer and director, Mastan breathed his last on Wednesday night at a private hospital in Bengaluru due to Covid related complications. He was 63. The funeral rites will be held today.
In his career spanning over 42 years, Mastan has worked as a poster designer for over 2,000 movies. Masthan has also directed a few movies like Shuklambaradharam, Kaleshi Malleshi and Seethara.
This is the second death in Sandalwood this year linked to COVID-19. Dr. D S Manjunath, an actor and producer, died of Covid-19 on April 18.
