Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise released worldwide on Friday and this Sukumar directorial received mixed response from movie lovers. Despite mixed talk, Pushpa :The Rise opened on a super strong note at the box office. The film registered exceedingly good openings in the Nizam region and fared reasonably well in Andhra Pradesh.
As per reports, Pushpa: The Rise collected a distributor share of Rs 24.90 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana which is a mighty achievement in the post-covid era. The gross collections are around Rs 35 crores. The film went on to collect $1 million (premieres and first day) in the USA, which is another astonishing feat post-Covid. The film is picking up the pace in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka steadily. It is expected to have a pretty solid weekend at the box office.
Pushpa rights have been sold by producers to distributors for 150 Crore worldwide and would be successful if it achieves a distributor share of 150 Crore. For the Hindi belt if it collects over 32 Crore it would cover its costs and a total above 50 Crore would make it a hit
